The BFG-30G is a 30-inch grill from the first generation of the Liberty Collection. It is built around a cart, with optional side shelves and a back bar, and it was designed to sit beside companion modules such as the BFG-30BGD griddle and the BFG-30BS side burner. Many are still in service on Houston patios.
On an outdoor grill that old, a gas smell at the tank connection comes ahead of everything else. If you notice one, close the tank valve, move away from ignition sources, and call us. After that we look at the burners, which rust at their port edges and give a lopsided flame, and at the shelves and hinge on the cart-based frame.

Shut the tank valve, keep flames and sparks away, and let the area air out. Then call us. With the gas off we test the hose, the regulator, and every fitting, and replace whatever is leaking.
