Why is my sear burner slow to glow?
Grease or residue on the burner face slows it down, and so can a weak gas supply. We clean the burner and check the flame before replacing anything.
What does the infrared burner do?
It heats a surface until it glows and sears the food at very high heat. It is a separate burner from the main ones, so we test it on its own.
Why does the rotisserie bulb keep burning out?
Heat and moisture shorten the life of the bulb, and a damp socket can make it worse. We check the socket and replace parts that corroded.
