DCS27FS-BQR
DCS DCS27FS-BQR Freestanding Grill Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Burner condition and flame pattern
- Ignition switch and spark
- Gas valve stiffness at the knobs
- Availability of trim parts before repair
The DCS27FS-BQR is a 27-inch freestanding grill from the early DCS days, with a rotisserie. It is an older model that is still in many Houston backyards, and we repair it. We also say plainly when a repair is not worth the money, which can happen with burners that have burned through and trim pieces that are hard to find.
On a grill this age we start with the burners, the ignition and the valves. Burners rust from the inside, stiff valve stems make it hard to set a flame, and a worn ignition switch means no spark. Some trim parts are scarce, so we check availability before quoting the repair rather than after.
Give us the model from the plate and, if you can, a photo of the burner you are having trouble with. We confirm the full number and serial from the label before ordering parts, and you get a written price before any work begins.

Can an older 27-inch DCS grill still be repaired?
Often yes. Burners, ignition parts and valves are the usual repairs. Some trim parts are scarce, so we check what is available first and tell you plainly if a repair would cost more than it is worth.
Why does one burner burn weaker than the others?
On a grill of this age, a rusted burner, blocked ports or a stiff valve are the first things we check. Uneven flames often come from grease and corrosion rather than from the gas supply.
Do you give a price before you start?
Yes. We give a written price before work, and our work carries a 30-day workmanship warranty. On this model we confirm parts availability first so the price is based on parts we can get.
