How do you test eight burners?
We light each burner in turn, compare flame shape and height, and note which ones differ. A pattern, such as burners near the same side, can point to a shared cause.
Why are several burners sparking at once?
Many cooktops spark at all burners together, which is normal. If the sparking continues after the flame lights, or stays on with nothing lit, we check for moisture and test the spark module.
Do you service the 488 if only the back burners fail?
Yes. Back burners are harder to clean and can have blocked ports. We check them like the front ones and also look at the gas flow to that side.
