BE1-30AG-N

DCS BE1-30AG-N Flat-Top Grill Repair

Most common issues on this model

  1. Plate cooking cooler in one zone because a burner below is clogged with grease
  2. Grease tray spilling onto the cabinet floor
  3. Dial lighting not syncing with neighboring modules
  4. Burner slow to catch after sitting unused

The BE1-30AG-N is the Series 9 All Grill at 30 inches, a natural gas flat-top with 525 square inches of cooking plate and a rating of up to 50,000 BTU in total. It is a current model, built in or set on a CAD1-30E cart, and an LP version is sold as BE1-30AG-L.

A flat-top behaves differently from a grate grill, so our checks do too. Grease that drains off the plate can clog a burner below it, and then one zone of the plate cooks cooler than the rest. We look at the burners under the plate, the grease tray, and where the grease goes when it overflows. If your grill is linked to other Series 9 modules, we also check the shared ignition and dial lighting.

A written price comes before any work, and our repair carries a 30-day workmanship warranty. Gas lines and any switch between natural gas and LP go to a licensed plumber, and an outdoor GFCI or circuit problem goes to an electrician. We read the full model and serial from the label before ordering parts.

BE1-30AG-NBE1-30AG-N questions
Why does one part of my flat-top stay cooler?

A cool zone usually means the burner beneath it is partly clogged with grease or its ports are dirty. We clean the burner, check the flame under that zone, and compare it with the rest.

Why do the linked module dials not light up?

The grill's interconnected ignition and dial lighting depend on its power supply and wiring. We check the supply and connections, and if the outdoor outlet or GFCI is the problem, an electrician handles that part.

What is the difference between BE1-30AG-N and BE1-30AG-L?

N is the natural gas version and L is the LP version of the same grill. The fuel matters for burner parts, and any conversion between them goes to a licensed plumber.
