BGA27-BQR
DCS BGA27-BQR Rotisserie Grill Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Rotisserie back burner electrode worn
- Heat shields burned through
- LP hose and regulator aged
- Rotisserie motor slow to start
The BGA27-BQR is a 27-inch professional grill with a rotisserie from the older BGA generation. It comes as the BGA27-BQRN on natural gas or the BGA27-BQRL on LP, and its non-rotisserie sibling, the BGA27-BQ, shares the same guide.
The rotisserie is what sets this one apart for service. The back burner has its own electrode, and when it wears the burner is slow to light or will not light. Heat shields burn through over time and let heat reach parts that should stay cool. On LP versions, an aged hose and regulator get a close look, because small cracks and stiffness develop with years of sun and heat.
Some parts for older BGA grills are scarce, so we confirm what exists first. You get a written price up front, and the repair is covered by our 30-day workmanship warranty. The serial on the data label goes on the order.

Error codes this model can show
Why will my rotisserie burner not light?
Its electrode may be worn or out of position, or the burner may be dirty. We reset or replace the electrode and clean the burner before judging anything else.
Do aging LP hoses need replacing?
Hoses stiffen and crack with sun and heat. If we see cracks or stiffness, we recommend replacing the hose and the regulator together, since they wear at the same pace.
What does the R in BQR mean?
The R marks the rotisserie version. The BGA27-BQ is the same grill without it, and both share a guide. We confirm the number on the label before ordering anything.
