Range Repair in Houston
We repair indoor DCS ranges, including gas and dual-fuel models still in many Houston kitchens. Burners, ignition, the oven and the controls all get checked, and the written price comes before any repair.
Common range problems we fix
In the order we see them across Houston homes.
Surface burner will not light
Oven does not reach set temperature
Oven bakes unevenly or burns bottoms
Igniter keeps clicking after lighting
Control panel or display does not respond
Door hinge or seal feels loose
DCS ranges are professional-style units with sealed or open gas burners, an oven below and a control panel for oven functions. Some are all-gas and some pair gas burners with an electric oven, and many have been in service ten to twenty years.
Kitchen humidity, grease and years of use wear on igniters, burner caps, oven sensors and door gaskets. A range that sat unused through a long outage or remodel can come back with problems it did not have before.
We begin with the burners and ignition, then test the oven for temperature and heating. When the cause lies in the gas supply or a conversion, we say so and leave it to a plumber. On older models, expect a candid view on whether repair is worth it. Tell us the model label on the range and what it does, and we plan the visit around the parts most likely involved.

Genuine OEM parts, stocked for the most common repairs.
A written price, approved by you before any work starts.
A 30-day workmanship warranty on every repair.
Is an older DCS range worth repairing?
Often yes. These ranges were built heavy, and many have years left. We tell you what parts can still be found, what fixing it takes, and whether buying new is the smarter move. Nothing starts until you have the price in hand.
Why will only one burner not light?
One dead burner usually points to that burner's igniter, cap or port rather than the whole range. A blocked port or a wet cap can also do it. We check those before suggesting a part.
Do you handle gas line work on a range?
We repair the range itself. Anything on the gas line itself, including switching between natural gas and propane or adding a connection, belongs to a licensed plumber. If your range needs one, we say so.
