Most common issues on this model
- Burner ignition and lighting
- Oven element
- Control and temperature accuracy
- Gas and electric connections
The RDT-364 is a 36-inch dual-fuel range from the older Traditional RDT line, with gas burners and an electric oven. It is a different line from the sealed-burner RDS ranges, so parts do not always carry over between them.
On a range of this type we begin with the burners: whether each one lights, how the flame looks and whether the ignition clicks. Then we move to the oven, with the element, the sensor and the control. Many of these ranges are old enough that wear on knobs and valves counts as much as a failed part.
Parts for the Traditional line can be scarce. We check availability before quoting and say plainly if repair does not make sense. Gas line work goes to a licensed plumber and wiring to an electrician. We read the model and serial from the label before we order.

Error codes this model can show
Is a Traditional range different from a sealed-burner one?
Yes. The line is different, so some parts do not fit both kinds of range. We match every part to the number on your label before we order.
Why do my knobs feel stiff?
Valve stems wear and collect grease over the years. We clean and test the valves, and we replace a valve if the knob still binds after cleaning.
Is a repair worth it on an older range?
Often yes, but not always. We check parts availability first, give you a written price, and tell you plainly if the cost does not make sense for a range this age.
