Gas smell near my grill: what comes first?
Turn off the burner knobs and the gas supply at the tank or shutoff, keep people away and do not try to light anything. A plumber with a gas license handles line work and new connections. When the supply is sound, we pick up with the grill.
Why does my grill click but not light?
A click means the igniter is sparking, not that gas is reaching the burner. An empty tank, a clogged burner port, a tripped regulator or a worn electrode can each stop a flame. We test spark and gas flow separately before suggesting a part.
Is an older DCS grill worth repairing?
