Most common issues on this model
- Error with a steady beep
- Dark display and lights once power returns
- Lock that stays engaged after a cleaning cycle
- Cooling fan operation
The WOU-130 is a discontinued 30-inch single wall oven whose clock display shows errors as the letter F and a number. It is a self-cooling design, so the power should stay on while the oven is hot, and it shares its user instructions with the WOUD-230 double oven.
That last point about cooling matters. If someone shuts off the breaker to work on the kitchen, the oven fans stop and the cabinet can overheat, so we ask whether power was cut. After an outage, an oven with dark displays and lights needs its control tested. A door lock that will not release after cleaning is common on older ovens, and the lock motor and switch are what we test.
Older ovens often need parts that take time to locate, so supply comes first, then the quote. You see a written price before work begins, and the model and serial on the label tell us what to look for.

Error codes this model can show
Why does my oven beep and show an error?
The control found a sensor, switch or temperature problem it did not like. We read the display, then test the sensor, door switch and element involved before suggesting any part.
Is it fine to shut off the breaker while the oven is still hot?
No. This oven cools itself with fans, and cutting power while it is hot can overheat the cabinet and the wiring. Let it cool completely before anyone works on the circuit.
After an outage the display is dark. Is the oven dead?
Not necessarily. We check the supply first and then test the control. A dark display can mean a failed board, a loose connection or a tripped limiter that needs attention.
