WODU30
DCS WODU30 Double Wall Oven Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Upper oven preheat time
- Door hinge wear
- Meat probe reading
- Bake element and sensor
The WODU30 is a 30-inch double wall oven that DCS no longer makes. It shares its user instructions with the WOUD230, which is a good clue when you are trying to find what you own. Many are still working in Houston kitchens, and we repair them.
A slow upper oven is the first complaint we hear. Preheat time depends on the bake element, the temperature sensor and the door seal, so we test all three. Door hinges wear on a double oven because the doors are heavy and used often, and a sagging door lets heat out. A meat probe that reads wrong can be tested at the jack and replaced.
It is an older model, so some parts are not easy to find. We look into supply before quoting, and we tell you straight if a repair would not make sense. Nothing is ordered until the label has told us the model and serial.

Error codes this model can show
Why is my upper oven slow to preheat?
A weak bake element, a drifting sensor or a door that does not seal. We test each and measure the oven temperature against the setting.
My oven door sags. Can it be fixed?
Usually the hinges have worn. We test the door spring and hinge and replace what is worn. A door that does not close properly wastes heat.
Is the WODU30 related to another oven?
It shares its instructions with the WOUD230 double oven. The designs are close, but we match parts by the full number on your label.
