Most common issues on this model
- Lower oven not heating
- Error on one oven while the other works
- Sticking oven racks
- Element and sensor in each oven
The WOUD-230 is a discontinued 30-inch double wall oven. Each oven has its own display and knobs, so you can bake in one while the other sits idle, and it shares its user instructions with the single WOU-130.
Because the ovens are separate, a failure in one rarely means the other is gone. A lower oven that does not heat points to its own element, sensor or control. An error showing on only one oven tells us which cavity to test, and the display guides the first checks. Oven racks that stick are a smaller call, but they can scratch the cavity, so we look at the rack guides and clean or replace them.
As an older oven, it needs parts that are sometimes scarce. Our order is: check supply, read the label, give you a written price, and only then begin work. If the numbers do not add up, we will tell you.

Error codes this model can show
My lower oven will not heat but the upper does. Why?
The lower oven has its own element, sensor and control path. We test each, starting with the element and sensor, since they are the usual parts.
Can only one oven in a double fail?
Yes. They run from separate controls and heating parts. We repair the one that failed and check the other oven for wear, so you know if more work is coming.
The racks stick when I slide them. What can be done?
We clean the rack guides and check for warping or damage. If a guide has worn, we replace it, if the part can be found.
