The RF24TR is an earlier digital single-tap outdoor beer dispenser, 24 inches wide, with a right-hinge door. The left-hand version is numbered RF24TL. The digital control reports temperature alarms on its display, and we repair these older units.
A high temperature alarm right after a warm keg goes in is often normal: the cabinet needs hours to bring the keg down. That is a different situation from an alarm that stays on for a day, which sends us to the sensor, condenser and compressor. A sensor alarm with a normal cabinet temperature points to the sensor or its wiring. Worn keg coupler seals show up as foam or a CO2 leak.

Error codes this model can show
The high alarm came on after I loaded a keg. Is it broken?
Probably not. A warm keg raises the cabinet temperature, and the alarm clears when it cools. If it stays on after a day, we test the sensor and cooling system.
What is a sensor alarm?
The control cannot read the temperature sensor correctly, so it shows an alarm even when the cabinet may be fine. We test the sensor and its wiring, then the control if the sensor is fine.
Can worn coupler seals cause foam?
Yes. A worn seal lets gas escape and changes the pour, so beer foams or goes flat. We replace the seals, test the joint for leaks and check the CO2 regulator pressure afterward.
