UT624
DCS UT624 Beer Dispenser Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Draft tower temperature at the tap
- CO2 regulator and gauge condition
- Cabinet temperature holding a keg
- Condenser airflow
The UT624 is an early DCS outdoor beer dispenser, 24 inches wide, and a sibling of the UR624 refrigerator. It is an older model, but plenty of owners still use theirs on a covered patio, and we repair them.
A dispenser has two jobs, keeping a keg cold and getting that cold into the tower. When the tower is not cold enough for a good pour, we check whether cold air is reaching it, then the cabinet temperature itself. A cabinet that will not hold keg temperature points at the condenser, the fan or the thermostat. A broken regulator gauge is a separate matter, and we test the regulator itself so you know what pressure the keg really sees.
Parts for an early unit like this can take time to find, so we find out what is obtainable before we quote. The label gives us the model and serial first, and if the numbers do not favor a repair we say so.

Error codes this model can show
Why is my beer foamy at the tap?
The tower may not be cold enough, or the keg may be warm. We check cabinet temperature, tower cooling and CO2 pressure before suggesting any parts.
My regulator gauge is broken. Can I still use it?
We would not rely on a broken gauge, since it hides the real pressure. We test the regulator and replace the gauge or the regulator as needed.
Does this unit share parts with the refrigerator?
Some cabinet and cooling parts are similar in style, but tower, regulator and keg parts are specific to the dispenser. We match each part to the label.
