What OFF flashing means

On DCS RF15I outdoor ice machines, including the RF15IR3, the RF15IL3 and the earlier RF15I, OFF flashing in one-second intervals with no audible alarm is a bin sensor error. A temperature sensor has failed, and the machine immediately goes into an OFF state, so it stops making ice. The display is not telling you that someone switched the machine off. It is reporting a sensor problem.
