What Lo means
On DCS RF24RE3 and RF24LE3 refrigerators and on RF24TR1, RF24TL1, RF24BTR1 and RF24BTL1 beer dispensers, a flashing Lo is the same alarm as Hi, but in the other direction. The compartment has run at least 10 degrees colder than the set point for over an hour. The refrigerator can be set from 34 to 42 degrees F, and the beer dispenser from 34 to 46 degrees F.
Common causes of Lo
- A set point that was changed to a very cold setting
- A sensor reading that does not match the real cabinet temperature
- A control or cooling problem that keeps running the unit too long

The cabinet stayed 10 degrees or more under its set point for longer than an hour. It is the cold-side twin of the Hi alarm, and it stays on until the condition is corrected.
What temperature range can I choose?
The refrigerator is set between 34 and 42 degrees F, the beer dispenser between 34 and 46. A set point inside that range is normal, so Lo points to a cooling or sensing problem.
Does a key press clear Lo?
It only mutes the sound. If Lo keeps coming back, schedule a visit and we will check the sensor and control.
