RF24BTR
DCS RF24BTR Beer Tap Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Low temperature alarm in cool weather
- Tower condensation dripping on the counter
- Tap handle and faucet fit
- Keg couplers and line condition
The RF24BTR is an earlier digital dual-tap outdoor beer dispenser, 24 inches wide with a right-hinge door and a left-hinge twin called the RF24BTL. It has a digital control with an alarm light, and it is an older model that we still repair.
Two features of an outdoor digital dispenser lead to calls. In cold snaps the cabinet can read too cold and show a low alarm, which tells us to check the sensor and where the unit sits rather than assume the compressor is bad. In humid weather, condensation forms inside the tower and drips onto the counter. We look at the tower insulation and drain path.
Loose tap handles and sticky faucets are simple repairs when the parts can be found. Parts for older dispensers can be limited, so we check availability before quoting and tell you plainly if a repair does not make sense. We confirm the number and serial on the label before ordering.

Error codes this model can show
Why does the low alarm come on in cold weather?
An outdoor unit in a cold spell can read below its setpoint. We check the sensor reading, the placement and whether the control is behaving. Sometimes it needs only a setting check.
Why does the tower drip onto my counter?
Humid air condenses on a cold tower. We check the tower insulation and where the moisture runs. Better sealing at the tower base often stops the drip.
Are tap handles and faucets replaceable?
Usually. We match them to your model and the finish on the cabinet, though parts for older dispensers can be scarce. We confirm availability before we quote you, so the price is based on parts in hand.
